April 22nd, 2026 Product Updates
New Features & Enhancements
- It is now possible to add weblinks as attachments to both interally-submitted and public request forms.
- The Security settings page now has a new feature to manage Magic Links. There are options to set magic links to automatically expire after a certain number of days and to immediately expire all magic links.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that prevented mapped custom fields from being used in conditional logic in project request forms.
- Fixed a bug that caused some reports navigation tabs to incorrectly display or not display for lower-level users.
- Fixed a bug that was causing the Settings navigation bar to close when navigating to different settings pages.
- Fixed a bug that prevented previously disabled users from being able to login with SSO after being re-enabled.
- Fixed a bug that caused date, responsible, and other field editors from appearing in the incorrect locations on the To-Do List report.
- Fixed a bug that prevented certain days from being added to the holidays/non-working days calendar.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Active Projects 100% Complete report from functioning properly when projects with no dates were present.

New Features & Enhancements
- Out of Office Conflict Report. This new report compares your team's scheduled out of office time with their scheduled tasks. Scheduling conflicts can be resolved directly on the report making it easy for project managers to ensure work is assigned to team members when they're available to work on it. Learn more.
- A "State" filter has been added to the Workload reports making it possible to see workload data for projects that are not in the "Active" state, like Inactive or Completed projects, for example.
- Added additional context to the dialogue box that appears when attempting to move a project request that cannnot be moved from one workspace to another. The dialogue box will now state if the request can't be moved due to the request form being disabled or due to the request form being available only in a single workspace.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that was causing the project or task notes editor from appearing in the wrong location in reports.
- Fixed a bug that was causing file references from malfunctioning when the project the files were attached to was moved from one workspace to another.
- Fixed a bug that was preventing users from logging in with SSO if their user account had been disabled and then re-enabled.

- Fixed a bug that was causing floating headers in reports to fall out of alignment with the report table.

- The Comments editor now supports emedding URLs in text hyperlinks.

- Fixed a bug that was preventing copied text from being able to be pasted in the comments editor.
- Fixed a bug that was preventing Screening Room invite links from giving the visitor access to the Screening Room page.

New Features & Enhancements
- There is a new user setting, found in My Settings > Other Settings to choose if comments are submitted using Shift+Return or Command/Control+Return. Learn more.
- It is now possible for any user of any user type to check out a file, regardless of who uploaded the file.
- It is now possible to attach weblinks to project requests submitted via public request forms.
- The "Rows 1-[n] of [n]" text at the bottom of the Projects module is now a link that, when clicked, will display the total number of projects and lowest-level (non-summary) tasks included in the current workspace(s) and filtered view.
- All Excel exports have been upgraded to xlsx format, and all date data within those spreadsheets is now in a date format recognized by Excel.
- The Excel export of the Projects module now includes the Stage column for projects and tasks.
- Updated the format of system notifications to more clearly differentiate between informational messages and errors.
- Completed additional back-end updates to file storage and retrieval. These updates do not change how users interact with files within Workzone.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that was preventing users from viewing a second page of tasks when moving a file in to another task in the Projects module.
- Fixed a bug that was preventing the full list of templates used in repeating project schedules from the warning dialogue when attempting to delete templates.
- Updated to the newest version of the comment editor.

New Features & Enhancements
- Switch Sites — A new feature, found in the user menu, making it possible to easily jump between different Workzone sites. User accounts in each site must use the same email address to appear in the site switcher. Learn more.
- Made several back-end updates to file storage and retrieval. These updates do not change how users interact with files within Workzone.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that was causing issues when importing MPP files during project creation.
- Fixed a bug that was causing the Projects module to run slowly when a filter for Project Tags was applied.
