Request Data by Month

Found in Reports, under the left Requests section, this report can help teams by providing an understanding of either the volume of requests received for a given month or the volume of requests that need to be completed in a given month. By viewing the requests in monthly buckets, Workzone shows a general sense of volume, but can also be set to show details of each request as needed to best understand the extent of past work or future work to plan or understand actions for a team.

Organized by selecting either the Request Date or Requested Deadline option next to Group By: near the top, the request rows displayed on this report can be set to show based on specific dates, requester, and more from the Filters button near the top left of the page. The available filters are shown here:

Also, based on the request form selected in the Form dropdown (for team's using multiple Custom Project Request Forms) Workzone can show specific columns of the details from the selected form. These columns display further to the right (scrolling may be required) for each request row. The columns are set using the small gear icon near the top of the page. Checking the boxes for the columns (request fields) to display and clicking Save will show those columns in the report. The example checked options shown below are from a specific example form:

Some of the details under the columns in this report are interactive:

  • Clicking on the request name in the Title column will move over to the Requests module and load the details of that specific request.
  • Clicking under the Notes column allows for adding or updating text.
  • Hovering over a request's paperclip icon on the left will show the document(s) attached to that request, and clicking on a document will show/download that document.

Additionally, the data displayed on the report can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet using the icon (to the right of the gear icon) near the top of the page:
