February 2025 Newsletter: Slack & MS Team integrations now live

February was a short month, but we were not short on new product development and updates. Here are some of our latest releases.

• Our native Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations are live. With this integration, your Workzone notifications will be delivered directly to you in a Workzone app in Slack or Teams. This integration is available to all Enterprise accounts. Administrators can set it up for their Workzone site by following the guides below:

• Advanced Markup is now live on all Enterprise Workzone sites. A more robust markup and proofing tool that supports more file types, including video, all within the Workzone experience.

What's coming up next?

• External Approval feature - alongside our existing document approval functionality, it will be possible to request approval from people who are not registered users of Workzone. These external approvers can see the file and log their approval response on a new publicly accessible approval page.
• New Integrations will streamline your work, so keep your eyes peeled for more on these soon:
  • Quickbooks - to sync time entries from Workzone.
  • PowerBI/Tableau - to use Workzone data in reports and visualizations.

• Kanban (Boards) View of Projects - soon you’ll be able to go from the classic Waterfall (list) view to Kanban (boards) view for projects, just like Gantt. Tasks will appear as cards, making it possible to drag and drop them into different lists. Did we say agile view?
