August 2023 Newsletter: Boards reporting is now available!

We're currently working on some big updates to Workzone but, in the meantime, we made some updates to the Boards module — specifically we've introduced some new reporting options for your Boards! Read on for more information on these new reports or visit our Board Reports knowledge base article for more information.

Additionally, we've created new Card Aging functionality which shows how many days a card has been sitting in its current list with color codes representing how long. The option to display those card aging values needs to be enabled in the Board settings:

Boards Reports

Each of these reports can be accessed either from the Boards Overview page or from any individual Board via the new Boards Reports menu shown in the top right of those views (note that the Card Aging Summary is only available in a single Board view):

Card Status report:

The Card Status report will show how many cards assigned to any given individual are either on track or overdue, based on the end date applied to the card, or have no end date assigned. This can be helpful in allowing managers to ensure cards are being completed on time.

Completed Cards report:

The Completed Cards report will show how many cards a given assignee has placed in a board's endpoint list within the specific date ranges. This can help to show how much work your team as recently completed in the Boards module.

Card Aging Summary report:

The Card Aging Summary report will show the average number of days that cards have been sitting in their current list organized by the card assignees. The right and bottom summary rows will show averages for all cards assigned to the user or in the list, respectively.

Card Labels report:

The Card Labels report shows a count of card labels being used along with the most recent date the label was used and by whom. This can be helpful in managing or otherwise cleaning up unused labels.
