Approvals Dashboard improvements
On the Approvals Dashboard (and the To-Do List), you can now access files out for approval more quickly, by clicking the paperclip icon to the left of the item name.
We've added a filter for "Approver Response Status" to let you quickly filter for specific responses (Approved, Not Approved, Waiting for Response). You can filter for a specific approver or all approvers.
We've renamed "Approval Status" to "Approval State", where it applies to whether the approval is Active or Complete.
Additional enhancements
All users can now delete markup comments that they created.
Links that go to the Files tab on a tray now scroll to the file and highlight it.
You can now mark a task complete and update % complete from the details page of the mobile to-do list.
When transferring responsibilities from one user to another on the Edit User page in Settings, we now only update assignments for incomplete tasks in active/inactive projects, preserving the history for completed tasks and projects.
After you've edited multiple items on the "Edit Multiple" page of the Task List, we now return you to the first changed item.
The custom forms list under Settings now includes a checkbox to hide disabled forms.
We reorganized items in Settings under sections for the main module in which they reside (Projects, Documents, etc.).
What We're Working On / Exploring Now [target release]
User homepage. A user-specific dashboard that shows tasks due soon, personal to-do's, recently viewed and favorite projects, and recent activity relevant to the user. We'll be reaching out shortly to those of you who expressed enthusiasm for this to get the specifics on what you'd like to see on that homepage. [Aug/Sep]
Enhanced reporting dashboards. Track and trend data over time on new dashboards with configurable report widgets of charts or tables. [Aug/Sep; Enterprise license required]
Board view. A graphical, drag and drop method for moving items across columns that represent the steps in a workflow, as an alternative to tracking work in hierarchical projects. [Dec]
Tasks without dates. Allow tasks without start or end dates. [Dec]
Branching/conditional logic for custom request forms. Certain questions only appear if the respondent provides specific answers to other questions. [Jan]
Threaded comments. Currently each item has a single string of comments. Frequently these comments can involve several distinct sub-topics, and can be useful to group these sub-topics into their own "threads", so that related comments stay together. [Feb]
