Hide/Display Projects columns and fields

Default Settings For All Users

Select All Workspaces from the workspace drop-down at the top. Select the settings (gear icon) in the top right Under the Projects section on the left menu, click the Fields to Display link.

Columns: Task List / Gantt Chart

The top table, labeled "Columns: Task List / Gantt Chart", allows you to designate which details should be made to display for users on the Task List, Gantt Chart, or Kanban view.

Select the checkboxes next to the items that you would like displayed in the Task List and the Gantt Chart views for all your workspaces. Scroll to the bottom and click the Save Settings button.

Required fields are already checked and cannot be unchecked. The required fields for the Task List and the Gantt Chart view are different. If your Workzone site includes custom columns, they will also appear at the bottom of this table for selection. The columns you specify here will apply to Projects in all of your workspaces.

NOTE: Unchecking a box on this page does not delete the item from Workzone; it merely hides it from display. If you check the box later, any hidden data will reappear.

Personalized Fields to Display

An individual user can customize their own view of columns to display on both the Task List and Gantt Chart view. To access the personal Fields to display page, users can click their initials/profile in the top right, then select My Settings from the dropdown list. On the left side select the option for Fields to display. This page has a table with checkboxes for each available field to display with a checkbox.

Once the desired boxes are checked, click the Save Settings button at the bottom. If necessary, a user can reset their view to the default company columns by clicking the Restore company defaults link.

NOTE: For the Task List, Attachments, Project/Task Name, and Status, End Date, and Notes fields cannot be unchecked and must always be displayed, as well as the Project/Task Name field on the Gantt Chart.
